Pantheon Hemisphere Two-Way Ring – Ebony
General Notes
The Ebony Pantheon Hemisphere Ring takes a pure cylindrical form and carves out a hemisphere which is punctured by an oculus. This ring is a more understated version of its sterling silver and gold sibling. Additionally, it can be worn upside down to present a flat circle atop the finger.
Smooth to the touch, warm against the skin and rich in tone, ebony has become a favorite material of ours, both to work with and to wear. This ring perfectly displays the beauty of this precious wood with its deep chocolate brown color and buttery soft texture. Made using offcuts from the furniture industry, each of our ebony pieces is turned on the lathe and polished to perfection.
Inspired by a semester abroad in Rome during which our architecture studio was situated near one of the most architecturally significant buildings in history, the Pantheon, this family of pieces translates details such as the hemisphere, oculus and coffered ceiling, into a statement making collection of genderless jewelry.
