General Notes
The Italian Renaissance designer, Andrea Palladio, is one of the most influential architects in the history of the art. In particular, the perfect symmetry and ideal proportions of his country house, Villa Capra (“La Rotonda”) have inspired generations of architects.
This four-part ring set takes its formal inspiration from the building’s plan, miniaturizing the circular drum of the dome into an ebony-set ring. It is surrounded by three complementary rings which reference geometric details from the plan.
Like all of our ring sets, this is designed to be worn separately or as a complete assembly. We like the versatility offered by things that are changeable, that provide multiple options for wear and this set is no exception.
